Finally, two weeks and one day after the test was performed, I got my mammogram results. No problem. Now, I'm preparing for next week's ophthalmology appointment, but I don't feel quite so worried about that (could be wrong there, of course!)
Meanwhile, thank goodness my GP warned me test results were taking longer than two weeks. I can't imagine what a state I'd have been in if I hadn't had that information. Slowly, finger by finger and toe by toe, I'm peeling myself off the ceiling.
There has to be a better way, particularly in the light of recent tests about the efficacy (lack of) of mammography.
