It's been a busy week so far. First, there was the county show - watch this space for some photos of various interesting farm animals! - then I had a consultancy contract at the other end of the country, which is where I'm blogging from. Once more, I realise how much my health has improved. The journey that should have taken me no more than 4.5 hours lasted for 7 hours as a result of heavy traffic and road closures. That much driving in such conditions (it was foggy and wet, too) would once have caused me to be able to do nothing more than sleep. However, at the end of the journey, I had an intensive, three-hour meeting, went out with friends in the evening and was in another meeting by 9.30 am this morning, having driven through rush hour traffic to get to it. And I'm not even remotely stressed or sleepy! Just as well, since I'm about to start another meeting...
How times change.
