Having just driven to the other end of the country and back within the space of 48 hours or so, I have realised what very good friends I have - so many of them did the same journey in reverse to celebrate my birthday with me.
I'd forgotten how stressful and tiring that journey is, and I feel very humbled and extremely touched to know that people were willing to do it for that weekend.
