The world is supposed to end today. A momentous date - the sixth anniversary of my diagnosis. The winter equinox. shortest day and longest night in the northern hemisphere. A day when I thought the world had ended for me. What is it about 21st December? The celebration of Yule and the return of the sun. It was my own turning point, too. Six years. I'm still here and I intend to be so for many more anniversaries, remembering and celebrating...
