Another of my acquaintances has been diagnosed, this time, quite quickly, though the discussions of treatment seem to be taking ages. One thing's sure, though - chemotherapy will be necessary. The more often I hear about my friends' and acquaintances' experiences of cancer treatment, the more grateful and lucky I feel that I was treated so effectively once my diagnosis was made.
What's worrying, though, is that it seems to be necessary to insist on a second opinion in almost every case I know about.
