As I posted recently, there is a hint of the autumnal about the days now. Indeed, today, there is more than a hint of the autumnal, though the weather forecast assures us that we will soon be basking in a heatwave again...
I am looking forward more and more to the arrival of my new bicycle, not only so I can get exercise other than walk but because it's so much more pleasant to cycle when it's cool.
So, autumn brings memories but it also brings a new chapter - and a new form of exercise - to my life. I'm anticipating the aching muscles with a type of glee; just a couple of years ago, even contemplating the concept of "bicycle" would have left me exhausted, and now look at me!
