Today, I moved the headboard in equally warm temperatures, carrying it over my shoulder like some massive, inflexible sack. In fact, rather than finding moving this piece of bedframe of greater or equivalent difficulty to moving the footboard, it was much easier. Day by day, I seem to gather strength and energy! Yesterday, I needed to sit down for a few minutes once I'd delivered the footboard to my garage. Today, I went straight on to teach for two hours and didn't feel in the least bit tired until the end of the session. Yesterday, the footboard felt heavy by the time I got home; today, the headboard seemed lighter (it isn't).
I keep saying that I feel better when exercising consistently, and it does seem to be true that the more physical moving around I do, and the heavier the exercise I take, the more my health seems to improve.
My next move will be to buy a bicycle so I can cycle to the supermarket instead of taking the car.
