Unexpected snow today, so I duly got my hat and gloves out to walk the dogs. Although I muttered to myself about getting old and therefore wearing a hat(!), I discovered, to my relief, that all the young mothers were also wearing hats as they headed home from dropping their children off at school.
It was good to get outside and walk this morning. The holiday seems to have gone on forever and, when there's no real incentive to get up and go out, both the dogs and I flop about aimlessly!
Currently, I'm trying not to think about a week on Friday. I've realised that I go into hibernation (for which read "denial") for at least two weeks before my check-ups.
