Meeting others

Today, I bumped into a friend of my mother's - literally - and we spent a while discussing our general well-being. We've both had radiotherapy in the last 2 years, so we chatted about whether we felt that this had had any effect on our overall health. On the whole, we felt not - many of the things we've noticed could be age-related as easily as they could be radiotherapy-related. In any case, we feel that whatever side-effects we may - or may not - be experiencing, they're nothing compared with how ill we were. What's more, when compared to the effect of radiotherapy sessions of even five - ten years ago, things have improved so much that we are far less likely to have (as m)any problems.

That cold's definitely still trying to develop - it's turned from a sneeze to a sore throat and cough this week!
