Where have all the posts gone?

You may have noticed that I haven't been posting as often as in the past. There are two reasons for this...

1. I haven't got very much to say at the moment. I'm not sure if this means I have reached a plateau in my recovery or whether I just want to take a holiday from blogging.
2. The incipient hospital visit is filling my thoughts and, really, there's only so many times I can mention it before it becomes deeply boring.

Doubtless as the summer progresses, my bloggging will resume. At least today I learned that my local hospitals have among the highest survival rates in the UK for various types of surgery, so it isn't all bad news.
