Having been diagnosed with cancer and told I needed radiotherapy, I was unable to find much useful information about the treatment from a patient's perspective. This blog is a record of my own experience, a real description of being a cancer patient requiring radiotherapy, as well as an account of recovery and the after-effects of illness.
As time goes on, my dealings with the health system in general may also be mentioned, as long as I continue to be clear of cancer.

Another celebration
It's good to be preparing to join another survivor at a celebration for her 50th birthday. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends at a party tomorrow. Another special one - we know how much we have to be grateful for.
