I don't know what's happened over the last couple of weeks but, despite my best intentions - and really lovely weather - my resolve to take a daily walk seems to have evaporated. At least, perhaps not evaporated so much as has been put on hold. I'm preparing to go to a conference and all my time recently seems to have been taken up with that and with getting ready to start teaching a new course. Somehow, although I get up in the morning intending to take a walk to start the day, before I know it, I'm checking email and then half the morning's gone and it's time to start work properly. By the evening, I'm so exhausted that all I want to do is put my feet up and snooze until bedtime.
Things will - must - change! When I get home again, my walking regime restarts in earnest. You read it here first!
