Blue skies looking at me

Indeed, nothing but blue skies can I see... Having survived the 24 hour air journey unscathed by coughs, colds, sneezes or snuffles, it seems that the air conditioning in my unit may have succeeded where all others failed! A definite soreness at the back of the throat suggests the dry air has finally got to me. We'll see...

Meanwhile, I marvel at the view from my window of the Pacific Ocean - so many impossible bluenesses to see. The Glasshouse Mountains can be clearly seen from the other side of the building - yes, I'm on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, which is living up to its name. Had I photo-editing facilities, I'd add a photo here to demonstrate that it really is possible to see several different shades of impossible blueness, but, for now, that will have to wait.

What is it about being on holiday that always makes me want to sleep?
