I can never decide whether I'm hot due to my current health situation or if it's the weather. Having been thrown into surgical menopause, I tend to have moments when I become unbelievably hot and have to splash cold water in my face to cool down again. So, I'm pleased to say that over the weekend, the heat was due to climatic conditions and not to hormonal difficulties. Summer seemed to arrive on Friday and stayed until Monday morning. However, it brought with it high humidity of the sort that has the same effect as a permanent hot flush!
At last, however, it's been possible to resume walking - there's nothing as horrible, in my opinion, as walking in very heavy rain that soaks through even the stoutest of waterproof coverings. That has been the case for the last three weeks or so. Now things have dried up, however, I've been able to begin walking again. I've been astonished at how stiff I've been for the last couple of days, every muscle aching in protest over being made to stride out once more. It's quite scary how quickly things deteriorate. Still, by the end of this week, I should feeling much fitter again - as long as I take my regular walks.

Hi Leslie
Just been reading about hot flushes -I was told recently that real women don't have hot flushes - they have power surges!!!!
Good Luck with check up - or maybe we should call it your "procedure for re-affirming your good health status" - which is what your bidy is telling you so the docs can only re-affirm it.
Angela
oops
