Having been diagnosed with cancer and told I needed radiotherapy, I was unable to find much useful information about the treatment from a patient's perspective. This blog is a record of my own experience, a real description of being a cancer patient requiring radiotherapy, as well as an account of recovery and the after-effects of illness.
As time goes on, my dealings with the health system in general may also be mentioned, as long as I continue to be clear of cancer.

One week to go
Well, in a week's time, my hospital appointment will be over. At the moment, I'm "wishing my life away", longing for the consultation to have been and gone. I still feel fine and I'm sure I am fine, but my nerves are really beginning to kick in now.
