Still bouncing!

Although the hayfever season is just beginning, and that usually slows me down, my new found surge of energy doesn't seem to have been affected. Not only have I done the laundry (traditionally done on a Monday morning, so at least I'm fitting in with tradition) today, I've also been shopping in my local village, realising as I was halfway down the hill that I hadn't even considered taking the car! Now, admittedly it's difficult to park in the village at this time of year as the tourists arrive, but, even a couple of weeks ago, it would at least have crossed my mind that it would be easier to drive than to walk, despite having to wait for a parking space!

Having obtained my shopping, made a dental appointment and stopped for a cup of tea, I practically ran back up the hill, noticing as I did so that several people I passed were gasping and wheezing, while I wasn't even out of breath.

This afternoon has been spent making phone calls to various agencies and businesses as I consider whether I really want to become a landlady. I've been mulling over the idea for a couple of years, but it's only this week that I've really felt up to making the mental effort to sort out the finances, implications and so on.

So, I've now realised that it's not just my physical fitness that's improving!
