The weekend has been a wonderful oasis in the daily rush to the hospital. However, since around midday today, the spectre of that journey has been forcing itself towards the front of my mind. Tomorrow is my first appointment before 09:00, and I'm trying to plan how best to wake myself up in time to set off through early rush hour traffic!
Whatever I do tomorrow will set the scene for the rest of my treatment, since all the remaining appointments but the final one are scheduled for 08:30 or 08:20. If I oversleep, it probably won't be a disaster, but it will be annoying and not a good omen for the days to come. I am so looking forward to 10:00 on 19th March 2007, when all this will be finished.
As you see, I'm still wishing my life away...
