Having been diagnosed with cancer and told I needed radiotherapy, I was unable to find much useful information about the treatment from a patient's perspective. This blog is a record of my own experience, a real description of being a cancer patient requiring radiotherapy, as well as an account of recovery and the after-effects of illness.
As time goes on, my dealings with the health system in general may also be mentioned, as long as I continue to be clear of cancer.

Three years on
I wonder why three years feels significant? Officially, the discharge date is five years after treatment finishes. So why do I feel as though it's time now? There is definitely something important about the number three.
