Why is it that when you're waiting for a check-up or even for a "routine test", everywhere you look you read headlines, see TV programmes, hear radio programmes about the very cancer you've had or are being tested for? You can't even walk down the street without meeting someone who's been through it, is undergoing treatment or knows someone who is.
At other times, you never hear about cancer. So, why does this happen? It only raises my stress levels!
