Well, it wasn't the illness that wore me out when I visited the tropics just before my diagnosis. The humidity in this region still drains me, despite my best efforts. It would have been nice if it had just been a side-effect of being unwell!
Other than being exhausted and hot, though, I'm surprisingly full of energy and able to do far more than I could in terms of tramping around in the heat than I could even on my last visit. Maybe, in fact, I am better able to cope...
My thought for today is that reflection often demonstrates that things are better than you think!
