Blinking in the cold

Two days in Singapore was wonderful, but I spent so much time charging around sightseeing that it hasn't done much for my jetlag! I've always been too tired to do much in Singapore, though, so the fact that I was able to charge round says a lot for my state of health! The flight back was long, though I did sleep a bit. The time change, though, always wears me out. I slept for about 15 hours when I got home and still feel completely detached from reality. But no cold - and no sign of even so much as a sniffle. Looks like my policy of carpe diem is working and that doing all that touristing in Singapore was a "good thing" - and I did get to visit Raffles Hotel and have a Singapore Sling (see below for a photo of Raffles by night - all that colonial elegance!)

Today's thought? Life's still too short. Enjoy it while you can.
