Well, another long silence in the blog... It's that time of year again - assignment marking - and my every waking moment, more or less, is filled with reading assignments and writing feedback. At least it keeps me busy!
The first lambs are appearing in the fields. That always makes me think of LIFE and that old cliché of how it carries on, even when the world falls apart around us. It also encourages me to take the dogs for longer walks, to work in my garden (when not writing comments on assignments!) and to be astounded that I can now, without thinking about it, do these things. What a difference, yet again, a couple of years can make. I still get concerned if I get an unexpected ache or pain, but I'm not nearly as worried as I was. My main issue now is that my joints stiffen up overnight! Soon I'll be grumbling about my arthritis...
