Despite one of the dogs deciding he absolutely had to go into the garden at 3 am, I'm feeling much less tired now than I was, even though I moved the carpets from two rooms from the development project to the municipal dump this morning and followed this up with a visit to my local branch of Ikea to take advantage of the special offers and reductions that are on at the moment.
The first Sunday in December is not a good day to go shopping, I discovered. Luckily, I got to Ikea early and was able to escape before the worst of the traffic began.
Of course, I should be exhausted as a result of all this activity, but, surprisingly, I'm feeling fine. Maybe it really was all the late nights and age rather than the after effects of radiotherapy that left me feeling so drained at the end of last week.
