There has to be a better way of spending my time!

Goodness me, I must be feeling stronger than I was at this time last year. I have spent the entire morning on the phone sorting out various issues, ranging from:

• the non-delivery of my latest Amazon purchase (have you ever tried using their telephone ringback service? I've been to France four times this morning, which isn't much use really, since I was trying to contact the UK offices!), via
  
• the late delivery of my new bathroom equipment (6 weeks does not constitute the promised "express delivery" in my view!), to
  
• finding the unique number for a gas meter I need to get moved.
  

And then there's the problem with the system through which I'm supposed to return student assignments - it's down, and nobody knows when it'll be back... And, of course, I can only send work back via that system because it can only be recorded as having been returned if I do it that way.

And I've got a new cold - or maybe it's the old one coming back to haunt me!

But at least I'm feeling well enough to deal with all the hassle now...
