It's a glorious morning here. The frost is beginning to lift and the sun is blazing (coldly) in the sky. I'm on the point of taking the dogs out alone for the second time since my diagnosis, and I'm really looking forward to it, though I suspect the forest floor is going to be a bit muddy after all the rain we've had this week. If I move fast enough, it's possible that it'll still be frozen and I won't get mud up to the knees, but I'm ready for all eventualities.
I know I keep mentioning how much I'm enjoying walking, and that it's getting repetitive. However, having been so ill, and unable to make it to the end of my drive (which is the length of a car!) at one point, I now really appreciate being able to stride out into the distance without worrying about how - and even if - I'll get home again.
