Travelling

So, five hours later, I arrived at my destination. Blissfully peaceful, surrounded by trees but reasonably close to major routes, and a haven for watching red squirrels. And wifi enabled, hence this blog entry! I was so enthused by the whole ambience that I immediately began marking exams. I must be feeling better - a five hour drive even a couple of weeks ago would have wiped me out for the rest of the day.

The food is fabulous - I shall have to take a lot of brisk walks while I'm here to make sure that I work it off - and I've finally identified that since my radiotherapy, onions and garlic really disagree with my system. I had a suspicion this was so, but I'm now quite sure of it. What a shame. I shall just have to remember 'all things in moderation' and be prepared for the side effects of over-indulgence in garlic / onions.

I've been up and on the go for more than 17 hours now. There's no doubt that I'm feeling fit!
