Having been diagnosed with cancer and told I needed radiotherapy, I was unable to find much useful information about the treatment from a patient's perspective. This blog is a record of my own experience, a real description of being a cancer patient requiring radiotherapy, as well as an account of recovery and the after-effects of illness. As time goes on, my dealings with the health system in general may also be mentioned, as long as I continue to be clear of cancer.

Twitching limbs
I was so busy marking assignments yesterday that I didn't have a chance to go for my customary walk. I think I'm getting addicted; as a result of lack of exercise, I couldn't sleep, my limbs were very twitchy and I've been really restless in general. So, despite the heavy rain, this morning I must go for a brisk walk. Time to get those walking poles out, attach my iPod (I can thoroughly recommend listening to audiobooks when you're out walking) and stride out!
