The night passed and the day crept unwillingly to life. The sky and the heavy mist on the hills on either side of the river indicates that more rain is on the way, and storms are forecast for tonight. At least there's no chance of being flooded out when you live at the top of a hill!
Midsummer is almost upon us, and I've been working on my garden as well as admiring flowers in the vicinity. I particularly love this rose tree in the village centre, and I'm rather proud of the campanula I've managed to grow in my own garden.
