Planning meeting number 2

I'm preparing for the second of the "planning" meetings where I'm scanned and marked up to ensure that the bullseye is really obvious.

The first planning meeting was well-timed - 11 in the morning - although parking was difficult, I was able to travel at a relatively quiet time of day, and there was only a ten minute delay to my appointment once I'd announced I'd arrived. Today's meeting, however, looks as though it's going to be more stressful in terms of timing. I have to be at the hospital for 3 in the afternoon. Getting there will be no problem, though I may have to negotiate children leaving school as well as fairly heavy traffic. The journey home, however, could well be difficult, particularly if there's any delay once I get to the treatment centre. Traffic in the city is always bad, but rush hour begins around 4 pm, and I have to cross one of the major north-south routes in the country. That should be fun at rush hour, particularly after a hospital visit!

I shall report on traffic trauma later. Perhaps it won't be as bad as I expect. And at least I take a direct route from my home to the hospital - it's a straight line, with the village at one end of it and the hospital at the other. No turnings off or deviations from the route until I arrive at my destination and have to find somewhere to park..
